…the hut in the Greina plateau!
The hut is located on Alpe Motterascio, at the southern edge of the vast Greina Plateau. The hut has undergone significant renovations and changes. The most important expansion dates back to 2005, when a modern tower was added to the west. Today, the hut presents a successful blend of old and new.
The view to the south is particularly breathtaking. The hut is especially popular for its cuisine: with regional products, including some from the neighboring alp, simple dishes—mostly Ticino specialties—are prepared and fine cakes baked. Here you can enjoy warm and family-like hospitality!
